Aniimo on iOS and Android
Mobile arrives on 23 September 2026, a week after PC and console. The iOS package is 3.46 GiB — and that is very nearly everything either store has published.
PC and console are out. Mobile is still to come on 23 September 2026, with no launch time published, a download of 3.46 GiB on iOS and 516 MB on Android — and still no supported-device list from either store.
Aniimo is out on iOS and Android. The download is 3.46 GiB on iOS and 516 MB on Android, and neither store ever named a supported device.
When
23 September 2026, on iOS and Android. Only the date — no time has been published for mobile, unlike PC and console, which have an exact instant.

Mobile went live on 23 September 2026. No launch time was ever published for it.
The "07:00 UTC" figure going around is not an announcement. Apple's catalog API reports a release timestamp of 2026-09-23T07:00:00Z — which is exactly midnight US Pacific, App Store Connect's default when a developer picks a date and leaves the time alone. It is a scheduling default being read as a launch time. Pawprint's own convention everywhere else is 10:00 UTC+8.
What the stores publish
Steam publishes a full minimum-and-recommended table for PC. Against that, this is what either mobile store says about running the game:
| Spec | iOS | Android |
|---|---|---|
| Download size | 3.46 GiB | 516 MB |
| Minimum OS version | iOS 15.0 or later | not published |
| Supported devices | not published | not published |
| RAM or chipset floor | not published | not published |
| Installed size after first boot | not published | not published |
Three numbers, seven blanks. Anything above that still reads not published is genuinely unpublished rather than merely unlisted here — and the PC requirements, published in detail, are not a reliable guide to what a phone needs.
Where you can install it
The iOS listing is absent in Russia, Mainland China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Morocco, and present in 102 of 107 other countries sampled. Two of those are worth noting: Russian and Vietnamese are both shipping game languages, and the official site runs a Russian locale, so the absence is not a language decision. Nothing has been said about whether the exclusions are permanent or staged.
Before you start on a phone
Cross-play is confirmed. Cross-save is not. Mobile is a week behind, so if you expect to play mainly on a phone, starting on PC or console on the 16th means starting a save that may not move. Waiting for the 23rd is the lower-risk choice.
Cross-play and cross-save are both confirmed — within one server. What you start on PC or console today does come with you on the 23rd, as long as you sign in on the phone with the same Aniimo Pass rather than starting a new account. The thing that does not move is the shard.

The full cross-save answer has Pawprint's exact wording and what "within the same server" rules out.
Pick your server deliberately
There are three shards — Aniimo-Americas, Aniimo-Europe, Aniimo-Apac — and a character is locked to the one it is created on. Your collection hangs off the character, not the account, so this is a decision you make once, in the first minute, before you know it matters.
Nobody has chosen yet — PC and console open first. If you are planning to play with people, agree the shard between you before anyone creates a character, because after that it is three separate games.
Anyone already playing on PC or console chose their shard on the 16th. So ask which one they are on before you create a character, not after — a phone player arriving on the 23rd is the one most likely to get this wrong, and it is the hardest thing here to undo.

Pre-registration rewards follow the email, not the phone
All four pre-registration milestones were reached — the official counter read 30,468,103 on 2026-09-08 — so every player is owed Glimmer ×200, Aniipod Ultra ×2, "Companion Promise" avatar frame and "Sunlit Meadow" outfit. They are not codes: across all three closed betas rewards arrived straight in the in-game mailbox with nothing to type, and they are tied to the email address used to create your first character.
That matters more on mobile than anywhere else, because pre-registration mostly happened on a phone and the reward attaches to an account. If you start on PC or console on the 16th, that is the email your rewards follow — sign in with the same one when the app arrives rather than starting a second account on the phone.
That matters more on mobile than anywhere else, because pre-registration mostly happened on a phone and the reward attaches to an account. If you have already started on PC or console, sign in on the phone with that same email — a fresh account is a fresh mailbox, and it will not be the one your rewards went to.

Codes and pre-registration rewards has the four tiers in full — and the working codes, which are a separate thing entirely: they are typed into Settings → Account → Gift Code Redemption, and they pay out to the same mailbox.
The download is not the game
3.46 GiB on iOS and 516 MB on Android are the store packages. What they become once the game finishes its first-boot downloads has not been published by Apple, Google or Pawprint — it is one of the blanks in the table above, and it is the number that actually decides whether the game fits on your phone. The gap between the two platforms is itself the warning: the same game is listed at seven times the size on iOS, which is a packaging difference rather than a content one, and neither figure is what lands on the device. The only first-party numbers for how much data Aniimo really needs come from the other platforms — 45 GB of free space on PC and 35 GiB on Xbox. Those are not predictions for a phone build, which is a different and much smaller thing. They are a reason to free up rather more than the store listing says, not exactly it.
The tracker works before you have an account
My collection saves in your browser with no account, so you can start marking Aniimo the moment you catch them and decide about signing in later. On a phone, adding the site to your home screen makes that a one-tap trip.
The mobile listings still disclose the most
Before launch the iOS listing was the only public account of what Aniimo sells — 6 crystal tiers from $0.99 to $99.99, a monthly pass and two battle passes. The live shop has since confirmed that ladder exactly. The mobile stores are still worth reading, though, because each one discloses something the other does not: Google Play advertises in-app purchases up to $149.99, half as much again as the largest crystal pack on the iOS ladder, and its content rating lists In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items).
Neither is a gacha finding on its own — creatures are caught, not pulled — the full breakdown has what is and is not randomised, and what the $149.99 is likely to be.
What is still unknown
Published here rather than guessed, because these are the queries that spike in the 48 hours before a launch and the ones other sites fill with invention:
- No launch time — only the date
- Whether the missing markets are permanent or staged
- Minimum OS version — Android
- Supported devices — iOS and Android
- RAM or chipset floor — iOS and Android
- Installed size after first boot — iOS and Android
Common questions
What time does Aniimo release on mobile?
No launch time was ever published for mobile — only the date, 23 September 2026. Apple's catalog API reported 07:00 UTC, which is exactly midnight US Pacific and an App Store Connect scheduling default rather than an announcement.
How big is the Aniimo download on mobile?
The iOS package is 3.46 GiB, from the App Store listing. The Android package size is in the table on this page. Neither store states how much the game downloads after first launch, so the installed size is unknown on both platforms. For comparison, the PC build needs 45 GB of free space and the Xbox one is 35 GiB.
What phone do I need to run Aniimo?
What the stores publish is in the table on this page, alongside the 7 answers still missing from it. The gap that matters is still open: neither store names a supported device, a chipset or a RAM floor, so a site telling you the minimum is a particular iPhone or a particular Snapdragon did not get that from Apple, Google or Pawprint. Steam publishes a full two-column minimum-and-recommended table for PC; mobile has never been documented to that standard.
Can I move my PC or console progress to mobile?
Yes, within one server. Pawprint's pre-download notice of 14 September states that "Game progress is fully shared across all platforms within the same server." — progress hangs off an Aniimo Pass, the email account your platform logins link to, so signing in on the phone with the same one continues the character you already have. The limit is the server, not the device: the three shards hold separate characters and nothing moves between them.
Is Aniimo on mobile in every country?
No. The iOS listing is absent in Russia, Mainland China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Morocco, while present in 102 of 107 other countries sampled. Two of those absences are odd, because Russian and Vietnamese are both shipping game languages and the official site has a Russian locale. Whether the exclusions are permanent or staged has not been stated.
